Hair Ritz is an award winning hair and beauty salon in East Belfast that has been providing excellent customer care for over 33 years. We were awarded ‘Best in Belfast’ in the Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty awards 2026 . We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/ Salon Manager to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent team-working skills, customer service skills with a keen eye for style, providing clients with personalised haircare and grooming services. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming environment, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Duties
- Provide day-to-day team leadership and shop floor management in our busy award-winning salon.
- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices, sharing expertise in styling techniques and customer service excellence
- Assist with store management duties as required, including stock replenishment and maintaining salon presentation standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client preferences and providing personalised advice
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively and build lasting relationships
- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments efficiently at the front desk
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating individual initiative
- Previous experience in store management and team leadership is advantageous but not essential
- A professional attitude coupled with a passion for current beauty trends and continuous learning
