Deputy Manager – EBD Children’s Residential Home
Location: Winkfield
Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per annum
I’m recruiting on behalf of an established children’s care provider seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for its EBD residential home in Winkfield.
The successful candidate will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, lead the staff team and ensure consistently high standards of care for the children and young people.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the operation of the home
- Leading, supervising and developing the residential care team
- Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures are followed
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Building positive relationships with children, families and external professionals
- Participating in the on-call rota when required
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience working at Deputy Manager level within a children’s residential setting
- Experience supporting children and young people with EBD or complex needs
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s home regulations
- Confident leadership and communication skills
