Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our establishment, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure a tidy appearance throughout the premises.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Occasionally assist with cooking or food preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly disposition.
- Basic cooking skills would be an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
