Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and customer service zones by regularly sanitizing fixtures and replenishing supplies.
- Remove trash and recyclables efficiently to uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the store.
- Use janitorial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning support.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Collaborate with store staff to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to daily operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies throughout shifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and store personnel.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently.
