The Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Room Leader to lead one of our nursery rooms.

As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and education while supporting and motivating your team to achieve the very best outcomes for children.
Responsibilities
As Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and inspire your room team to deliver outstanding care and education.
- Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, develop, and thrive.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring routines run smoothly and effectively.
- Observe, assess, and support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's individual interests and next steps.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and wellbeing.
- Support, mentor, and develop members of your team through coaching and leading by example.
- Monitor children's learning journals and ensure high-quality observations, assessments, and planning.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene throughout the room.
- Work closely with the management team to continuously improve practice and contribute ideas that enhance the nursery.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- The ability to motivate, support, and lead a team.
Desirable:
- Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience.
- Experience supporting staff development and mentoring colleagues.
- A good understanding of nursery compliance and inspection requirements.
