Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer flexible working hours suitable for various schedules.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shifts
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables when required
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience serving customers in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for handling transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands within a lively hospitality setting
