Job Summary
The Hamworthy Club is looking for a reliable and hardworking Weekend Cleaner to join our cleaning team.
This role is primarily focused on weekend working and requires availability every Saturday and Sunday. You will normally work from 6:00am, finishing between 9:00am and 10:00am depending on operational requirements.
Working alongside our Head Cleaner and wider cleaning team, you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected throughout our busy sports, leisure and hospitality venue.
There may also be opportunities for additional weekday hours to assist with deep cleaning projects and other cleaning duties. However, Saturday and Sunday availability is essential and non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces throughout the building.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and changing facilities.
- Preparing public areas and function rooms for daily operations.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Assisting with periodic deep cleaning tasks.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the club.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Important Information
This role requires availability every Saturday and Sunday, starting at 6:00am. These are the core working days for the position and applicants must be able to commit to working both days each week.
