Are you a Mechanical Engineer ready to step into a high–impact role on one of the UK's most critical nuclear programmes?
We're supporting a key delivery partner on the PFDO project at Sellafield, and we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to help drive engineering excellence across complex, safety–critical work.

You'll play a vital role in delivering engineering and technical activities across the project lifecycle–bringing your expertise to solve complex challenges and ensure high–quality outputs in a regulated environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver mechanical engineering solutions across design and project phases

Resolve complex technical issues using your specialist knowledge

Produce and review technical reports, calculations, and documentation

Ensure compliance with project specifications and stakeholder requirements

Support and guide junior engineers within the team

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Work independently or as part of a multi–disciplinary engineering team
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Engineer

Background in highly regulated industries (ideally nuclear)

Strong technical problem–solving and analytical skills

Experience producing and reviewing engineering documentation

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Rate: 51– 61/hour (Inside IR35)

Clearance: BPSS minimum (higher clearance beneficial)
