Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our building materials merchant team.
As a Sales Advisor you will lead and inspire a dedicated sales team to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving sales targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Develop and maintain an effective strategy for customer engagement and sales growth.
- Explore and capitalise on sales opportunities and large-scale projects to maximise both sales and margins.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of quotes, and maintain an effective quote bank.
- Represent the company professionally in all dealings with existing and potential clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Advisor or similar role in sales in building materials industry.
- Strong track record of sales performance specifically within the builders' merchant or building materials industry.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving excellent results.
- High degree of professionalism and dedication to customer service.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales and customer management.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
