An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; Trent Precast Concrete Ltd.
The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group head quartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £360m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Precast team.
Trent Precast specializes in the manufacture and delivery of structural precast concrete units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham.
Responsibilities of Project Co-ordinator
- Reporting to Head of Pre-production and Company Management.
- Reviewing and developing projects using Precast & GRC manufactured components.
- Ensuring all required information is gathered and re-laid to the manufacturing team both on the manufacture drawings and in a simple document.
- Liaising between clients and own team to ensure smooth flow of information and that project is designed and set up to suit manufacture ability and efficient processes.
- Producing project programmes and factory specifications for production.
Requirements of Project Co-ordinator
- Experience within precast & structural components detailing and manufacturing essential.
- Experience of using CAD software and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to read manufacture drawings and understand measurements.
- Great communicator and understand design concepts.
- Ability to produce programmes and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work alongside factory management and head of Pre-production to set up and deliver projects on time and in full.
