Position Description:
Within a budgetary framework and with full accountability, takes responsibility at a senior level for overseeing all aspects of the company’s IT operations and systems at each site, in line with the needs of the business and Group directive.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for ensuring the relevance and continuity of day-to-day IT operations.
- Overseeing Incidents and Requests through a centralised management system to agreed SLA’s.
- Business partner/supplier management
- Support and maintain manufacturing and operational systems.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to define business needs and objectives.
- Solution research and implementation as per business requirements
- User training and development to enhance working practises and security.
- Development of the IT team’s standard working procedures and best practises
- Management of the IT team through regular 1:1’s, support, and coaching
- Personal and professional development
- Development and validation of backup/disaster recovery systems and procedures
- Identification and mitigation of threats to IT systems
- Penetration testing
- Adhere to group policy
- Point of contact for GDPR
- Point of contact for CCTV
- Assigned data controller.
- Ensure auditing and compliance to all IT policies and procedure in line with company and group directive.
- Key stakeholder for the continued development of the SAP system
- Responsibility for security, enhancement, and data integrity of the SAP system.
Position: Full Time with an immediate start
Hours of work: Mon- Thursday 9.00am -17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Holidays: Full time – 25 days per year (Holiday year Jan – Dec) + 8 Bank holidays, Pro rata for part time.
Life Insurance: 3 times basic salary whilst in employment
Pension Scheme: Automatic enrolment if meet criteria, 5% Employee, 3% Employer. After 1 year in April – Age related up to max 6.5%.
