Role Overview
Coordinate agricultural trade activities while strengthening supplier relationships and supply chain performance.
Duties
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities for agricultural products, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to manage inventory, order processing, and trade documentation efficiently.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimise operations.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments affecting agricultural trade to ensure compliance and maximise opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain network.
- Collaborate with logistics providers to coordinate transportation schedules and optimise freight costs.
- Prepare detailed reports on trade activities, supply chain performance, and risk assessments for senior management.
- Support the organisation’s sustainability initiatives by promoting responsible sourcing practices within the supply chain.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the agricultural or commodities trading sectors.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is essential.
- Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory management, and trade compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders across international markets.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations governing agricultural trade is advantageous.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
