Amazing Opportunity for Conveyancers and Title Checkers!
Key Responsibilities:
· To title check freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and new build properties.
· Produce and send title reports to clients in a clear and concise manner. This may include search reports and review of management packs.
· To produce relevant enquiries to sellers conveyancers and give clear direction and instructions to the Conveyancing Case Handlers and the Assistant Case Handlers regarding any additional actions which may need to be taken and matters which need be followed up.
· Review and report to clients on replies to enquiries. Provide direction and assistance to the Conveyancing Case Handlers and Assistants on any action required.
· Assist other team members with other tasks such as sale enquiries obtaining non-standard indemnity policies, checking indemnity policies supplied by other law firms. Draft and approve Deeds of Variation, Lease extensions and Transfers of Part.
· Review and sign off sale and purchase matters in readiness for exchange of contracts ensuring that all aspects of the conveyancing process is adhered to and in line with CLC guidelines.
· Demonstrate accuracy throughout the transaction, ensuring there are no issues which arise post-completion in respect of registration or financial issues.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a title checking role.
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in signing off Leasehold and Freehold sale and purchase files.
The ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organisation skills.
Experience in dealing with high volume and tight deadlines.
