# Mobile Phone Repair Technician

## About the Role
Smart Tech is looking for a **Mobile Phone Repair Technician** to join our team.
We are looking for someone who has **previous experience working in a phone shop or repair shop** and already understands how the job works.
You do **not** need to be an advanced board-level or microsoldering technician. We are happy to consider someone with good practical experience in **basic and common mobile phone repairs**.
## Main Responsibilities
* Screen replacements
* Battery replacements
* Charging port replacements
* Camera replacements
* Speaker and microphone replacements
* Back glass / housing replacements
* Basic fault diagnosis
* Basic software troubleshooting
* Testing devices before and after repairs
* Keeping the repair area clean and organised
* Handling customer devices carefully
* Following the shop's repair and quality-control procedures
## What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Have **previous experience working in a phone shop or repair business**
* Already have basic training and hands-on repair experience
* Be confident carrying out common repairs such as screens and batteries
* Be able to work independently
* Have good attention to detail
* Take care when handling customer devices
* Be reliable, punctual and professional
* Have good communication skills
* Be willing to learn and improve their skills
### Advanced Repairs Are NOT Essential
You **do not need to be an expert in motherboard repairs, microsoldering or advanced diagnostics**.
If you are experienced with the everyday repairs commonly carried out in a phone shop — such as **screen replacements, battery replacements and other basic repairs** — we would still like to hear from you.
## Important
This is **not a trainee position**.
We are looking for someone who has already worked in a phone shop or repair environment and knows the basics of how to carry out repairs professionally.
You should be able to come into the shop and confidently handle common repairs with minimal supervision.
