Duties
- Install new air conditioning units according to schematics and technical specifications, ensuring precise placement and secure connections
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to optimize performance and extend lifespan
- Repair equipment by diagnosing issues accurately and replacing faulty components efficiently
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair processes
- Lead small teams during installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution
- Perform quality checks post-installation to verify system functionality and compliance with safety standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex HVAC systems and components
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to air conditioning systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or guiding team members during installation projects
- Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC units
- Knowledge of air conditioning technology, maintenance procedures, and system diagnostics
- Construction experience is highly desirable to navigate job sites safely and efficiently
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for precise installations and repairs
