A&M EDM is a highly successful, engineering organisation based over 2 sites in Smethwick. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components for various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Online Program, set up, and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce high-quality components to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job.
- Monitor production processes to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes.

Requirements:
- Experience in online programming 3 and 5 axis machines
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming using Hurco controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
