Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate project estimates that align with our company's mission of providing high-quality, secure, and stylish entrance control solutions. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. The role will cover quotations for both the sales and service teams with targets with an aim to assist in the growth of the overall business sales.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom gate projects based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure accurate pricing and project scope.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
- Assist in developing competitive bids while maintaining profitability.
- Communicate with clients to clarify project details and provide transparent cost explanations.
- Produce service contract quotations and follow up with email and phone calls.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in cost estimation within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of materials such as aluminium, wrought iron, and solid wood.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in estimating software is a plus.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to installation projects is desirable.
