Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring smooth restaurant and bar operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Previous experience in restaurant or catering environments is essential although full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Address guest queries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidate
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
