We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to manage and support the bus cleaning activities at our depots at Cardiff & Swansea.
This is a full-time evening position, starting work at APPROX1500hrs and working into the evening.
This ia also an outdoor and all weather role
The position is full time (40 hours per week) based on a five out of seven day rota and will involve some weekends.
The candidate will ideally hold a full car licence ( with no more than 6 points) and have the ability to train to hold PCV licence although this is not essential.
You will be supervising our cleaning operation, so a good understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace and a knowledge of cleaning processes and materials is required. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and continuously monitor levels of attention to detail within a team. Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry is desirable.
The ideal candidate needs to be able to:
- Organise rotas, complete wage input and undertake other relevant admin tasks
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Recruit, train and develop cleaning staff
- Carry out general cleaning duties
- Perform routine inspections to ensure that high standards are maintained
- Allocate duties to team members and organise holiday / sickness cover

This is a permanent, hands on full-time role, based predominantly at Cardiff depot but with frequent travel to Swansea depot (the use of a pool car is sometimes available).
