Are you an experienced Mechanic looking to develop your career within the Agricultural and Construction industry?
We are currently recruiting for an Agricultural & Construction Mechanic to join a growing family business based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with experience in servicing, repairs and fault finding to work on a wide range of specialist equipment.
About the Role
As an Agricultural & Construction Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a variety of agricultural and construction machinery. You will play an important role in ensuring equipment is operating safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on agricultural and construction equipment
- Service and maintain machinery including tractors and telehandlers
- Carry out safety inspections and ensure equipment meets health and safety standards
- Complete repair reports and maintain accurate service records
- Identify parts requirements and assist with stock control where required
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
- Support continuous improvement within the service department
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in mechanical repair, servicing or maintenance
- Experience working with agricultural, plant, construction or similar machinery is desirable
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and repairs
- Experience using workshop hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
Land Based Engineering qualification or previous industry training would be highly desirable.
