The Research Dissemination and Engagement Manager is a senior member of the HCRI and SALC PS team who leads on research dissemination, Teaching and Learning partnerships, and supports research programme delivery in HCRI and as time allows, more broadly across the School. The postholder reports to the Head of Research Programmes and Partnerships and will be part of the Faculty of Humanities Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment Team and work closely with the Head of Faculty CMSR (dotted line). The post holder will also work closely with the Faculty Research Support and Business Engagement team, and in respect of TLSE with the School’s Head of Teaching and Learning and Student Experience.
The postholder manages a small number of PS colleagues and has day-to-day responsibility for the operational aspects of the institute, and supports a team of academic and research colleagues. They will develop, deliver and evaluate a strategic approach to research dissemination and engagement, with a focus on enhancing the institute’s reputation as a leading centre and maximise the influence of its academics on policy and practice. The postholder will contribute to the strategic vision of the Institute by ensuring alignment and integration with operations and strategy, ensuring the HCRI’s goals and activities are aligned with Manchester 2035.
