Holistic Care Scotland are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader within Banchory and the surrounding areas.
Holistic Care Scotland are a home care provider based in Aberdeenshire who are registered to support both adults and children in their own homes and within the community.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication skills, strong teamwork and a proven track record in supervising and leading a care team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring high quality person centred care to the clients we support and the services we provide.
Duties
- Working on schedule supporting clients
- Leading the staff team
- Carrying out staff supervisions
- Carrying out staff probations
- Supporting new members of staff by carrying out shadow shifts
- Supporting new members of staff by mentoring
- Managing clients support
- Working in close contact with other members of the management team.
- On Call Duties
- Spot Checks
- Supporting staff training and development
- Building good working relationships with other providers ,healthcare professionals and other individuals invloved in client care and support
- Supporting quality assurance and compliance
Experience
- Must have previous experience working in a Team Leader role within the Care Sector and hold a minimum of an SVQ level 3 Health And Social Care qualification including additional management/supervision qualifications.
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for work
- Must have experience in managing a staff team and carrying out staff supervisions and probations.
- Must have experience in managing clients support including updating of care plans and risk assessments etc.
