Job Overview
We currently have a vacancy for a skilled cold lay operative.
You will be working throughout Yorkshire carrying out reinstatement in the highway and private property on a Gas contract.
Previous experience in the utility industry essential.
Teams must be fully skilled and be able to produce work to a very high standard in all aspects of cold lay reinstatement, Concrete, Kerbs, Block Paving, Flagging, General Snagging Duties.
Full Uk Driving Licence Essential.
NRSWA Card with relevant modules desirable.
Shea Gas preferred but training can be provided.
Abrasive wheels, Manual Handling and Banksman Training can be provided.
50 hours a week with regular overtime available most weekends.
Pay is negotiable depending on position and experience.
We are a well established company with a continuity of work.
All applicants will be required to pass a drugs test before a place on an induction will be offered.
Our client has a clean shave policy in place where you are required to attend work clean shaven, this is a strict health and safety policy where no employee will be allowed to work on the contract with facial hair.
Immediate starts available for the right candidates, Interviews will be taking place at our Hull depot week commencing 31/08/26
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 per week
