Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that commercial premises are kept spotless and hygienic, contributing to a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is essential, but basic training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including restaurant floors, prep area, kitchen, staff rooms , and other business premises
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces, floors, and fixtures are hygienic and presentable
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, prep areas and common areas according to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is necessary with speed and attention to details.
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
