About the Role:
Glasgow is a major centre for business services, customer communications, and operational delivery, and at Mailing Empresas Operations Group, we help organisations manage complex campaigns, service projects, and customer communication programmes.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can lead high-value operational and business transformation projects from planning through to successful delivery.
You will work closely with clients, operations teams, business analysts, data specialists, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to define objectives, manage risks, control budgets, and ensure each project delivers measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, dependencies, and implementation schedules.
Project Delivery:
Lead projects from initial approval through planning, execution, monitoring, handover, and post-implementation review.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong working relationships with clients, operational teams, technical specialists, suppliers, and senior business stakeholders.
Budget Management:
Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditure, review forecasts, and ensure costs remain within approved limits.
Risk Management:
Identify operational, technical, commercial, and delivery risks and implement suitable mitigation actions.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate project teams, clarify responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure assigned actions are completed within agreed deadlines.
Client Communication:
Provide clear updates on project progress, decisions, risks, changes, and expected outcomes.
Scope Control:
Assess requested changes, document their impact, and ensure scope adjustments receive appropriate review and approval.
Performance Monitoring:
Track delivery against schedules, budgets, quality standards, service targets, and agreed business benefits.
Supplier Management:
Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers involved in project delivery.
Project Governance:
Prepare status reports, decision papers, risk registers, action logs, and governance materials for project reviews.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate delivery problems, coordinate corrective actions, and escalate significant concerns when required.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure project outputs meet approved requirements, operational standards, client expectations, and compliance obligations.
Change Management:
Support affected teams through process changes, new systems, revised responsibilities, and updated working practices.
Project Handover:
Coordinate testing, training, documentation, operational readiness, and the formal transfer of completed projects into business operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Review completed projects, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements to project methods, controls, and delivery processes.
Mentoring:
Provide guidance to project coordinators, junior project managers, and team members involved in delivery activities.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in project management, business operations, service delivery, customer communications, or organisational change.
Education:
A degree in Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
Project Management Knowledge:
Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and change control.
Certifications:
PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM, PMP, Scrum, or similar project management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to guide cross-functional teams, influence decisions, resolve conflict, and maintain accountability across complex projects.
Commercial Awareness:
Good understanding of budgets, contracts, supplier performance, service commitments, and business benefits.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to evaluate project information, identify delivery risks, challenge assumptions, and make evidence-based decisions.
Tools:
Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, or similar planning and reporting platforms is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Strong spoken and written English is required, together with the confidence to present complex project information to clients and senior stakeholders.
Organisation:
Ability to manage several workstreams, changing priorities, competing deadlines, and detailed project documentation.

Pay: £4,600.00-£5,500.00 per month
