About Olive & Oak
Olive & Oak Cleaning is a growing professional cleaning company serving Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on providing a reliable, high-quality and personal service to every customer. As we continue to grow, we're looking for experienced and dependable cleaners who take genuine pride in their work to join our small team.
We deliberately keep our cleaning team close-knit so that we can build strong working relationships with people we know, trust and can rely on.
Please note: you must drive and have access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role. Our customers are located across Cambridge and the surrounding areas, including locations that can be difficult to reach reliably by public transport.
The Role
This is a self-employed, flexible position, with cleaning jobs offered based on your availability, location and the type of work you're happy to undertake.
Work can include:
- Regular domestic cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- End-of-tenancy cleaning
- One-off cleans
- Airbnb/short-term rental cleaning
You tell us the days and hours you're available and how far you're willing to travel, and we'll aim to offer suitable work within those preferences.
There are no guaranteed hours, and you are free to accept or decline work offered to you.
Pay
£15.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on the type of clean undertaken.
What We're Looking For
To join Olive & Oak, you'll need to:
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Have previous professional cleaning experience
- Be reliable, punctual and responsive to communication
- Take genuine pride in delivering a high standard of cleaning
- Be comfortable working independently
- Have your own cleaning products and equipment, including a vacuum, mop and bucket
- Be willing to travel to customers across Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Be friendly, professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
- Have a smartphone and be comfortable using an app for job information and checking in/out
Working With Olive & Oak
We want our cleaners to feel like a valued part of Olive & Oak rather than simply another name on a long list.
You'll have direct communication with us, clear information about each job and flexibility over the work you choose to take on.
As our customer base grows, cleaners who consistently provide an excellent, reliable service will be the people we look to first when allocating suitable regular work.
