Vehicle Progressor – Used Car Retailer
Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per annum, dependent on experience

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Vehicle Progressor to join our busy used car retail team.
Previous experience within the motor trade would be an advantage, but it is not essential. What matters most is that you are reliable, hardworking, organised and able to manage multiple tasks while working to agreed timescales and processes.
The Role
As Vehicle Progressor, you will be responsible for coordinating the preparation of newly arrived vehicles and ensuring they progress efficiently through the various departments before being made available for sale.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Booking in fresh stock as vehicles arrive on site.
- Coordinating and liaising with Service, Paint and Valeting departments.
- Monitoring vehicle progress and ensuring agreed timescales are met wherever possible.
- Working to established processes and completing all associated documentation accurately.
- Communicating with different departments to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the preparation process.
- Ensuring new stock is prepared and ready for sale within the agreed timeframe.
- Identifying and preparing non-retail vehicles for auction disposal.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
- Managing multiple vehicles at different stages of preparation while maintaining attention to detail.

- Is comfortable working to deadlines and agreed processes.
- Takes pride in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Has an interest in vehicles and the motor trade.
- Has previous motor trade experience — desirable, but not essential.
