Join our team as a Weekend Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a spotless, welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working independently, and are committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness. As a Weekend Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently during weekend shifts, contributing to a safe and hygienic space for everyone.
The areas to be cleaned include the main pub and 5 of our B&B rooms.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, restrooms, and bedrooms.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock supplies such as soap dispensers, toiletries and toilet paper as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance issues.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Report any damages or maintenance concerns promptly to the supervisor for resolution.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus.
