Salary: £70,344 - £73,149 (In line with national pay scales)

Cleveland Police is seeking talented and ambitious leaders to join our organisation as Chief Inspectors through either promotion or lateral transfer.
Applications are invited from:
- Substantive Inspectors who are suitably qualified and seeking promotion to Chief Inspector.
- Substantive Chief Inspectors from Home Office forces seeking a lateral transfer at rank.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:
- Be a substantive Inspector who has successfully completed NPPF Step Four/OSPRE and is seeking promotion to Chief Inspector; or
- Be a substantive Chief Inspector currently serving within a Home Office police force and seeking a lateral transfer at rank.
Substantive Chief Inspectors applying for transfer at rank will undertake the same selection process as promotion candidates.
What You'll Retain
Successful transferees will retain:
- Previous police service and current pay level (excluding force-specific allowances such as London Weighting).
- Annual leave entitlement, provided there is no break in service.
- Existing pension arrangements.
Substantive Chief Inspectors wishing to transfer at rank will follow the same process as those applying on promotion.
