As a Rail Infrastructure Operative, you'll work alongside experienced professionals carrying out essential maintenance, upgrades, installations and repairs across the UK's rail network. Every shift contributes to keeping passengers and freight moving safely and efficiently, making this a career where your work genuinely makes a difference.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll enjoy working outdoors, being part of a close-knit team and learning new skills.

Training
As part of your journey into the rail industry, you'll receive comprehensive training, including:
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Safety Critical Training
- Overhead Line Equipment Awareness (OLEC1)
- Track Induction Course (TIC)
- Manual Handling
- First Aid & Fire Safety Awareness
- Small Plant & Tools Training
- Track Maintenance
- Track Construction
This training provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and confidently on the UK's rail infrastructure.
