Purpose
The B&P Advertising Manager leads the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for all the Advertising P&L lines across EMEA. They act as a critical business partner to Omni Demand Generation teams across the Region and to the Regional Brand team. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy of reportings and forecasting for this critical growth driver investment, while ensuring full compliance with Colgate Financial Policies.
What you will do
Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual Budget and Strategic Planning cycles for Advertising across EMEA ensuring that resource allocation is tied to maximizing return and supporting measurable marketing outcomes. Coordinate with all Omni Demand Generation functions and Brand teams in the region to reflect the demand generation plans for all relevant P&L lines and Balance sheet buckets.-
Forecasting & Reporting: Manage the monthly Closing, Monthly Rolling Estimate (MRE) and Latest Estimate (LE) processes for all advertising lines across EMEA. Collaborate with all relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate accruals in compliance with CFPs.

Financial Process Automation and Efficiency: Drive and lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of all Advertising financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, closing and accrual management. Collaborate with GIT and functional teams to fully leverage Digital & Analytic tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve data visibility.

Decision Support and Value Creation: Translate financial data (MRE, LE, Closing) into actionable business insights for senior management and business partners. Proactively identify critical risks and opportunities within the advertising P&L and recommend immediate corrective actions or new investment strategies to meet regional growth objectives. Maintain and propose usage of Frozen advertising.

Investment Performance and Efficacy Analysis: Develop and manage reporting that tracks the efficacy and Return on Investment (ROI) of advertising spend across EMEA. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to Regional Marketing and Brand teams to optimize resource allocation and drive superior financial outcomes.

Fund the Growth (FTG) Leadership: Act as the Region lead for Advertising FTG. Coordinate with countries and Regional Marketing the identification, tracking, and validation of savings projects across the Advertising lines to deliver the budget goal. Collaborate with Indirect Procurement to move savings forwards and align with Regional Marketing and Finance leads to strategically reinvest validated savings for maximum business impact.

Compliance & Internal Control: Maintain a strong internal control environment for planning and reporting processes. Ensure alignment with Corporate Audit Department (CAD) findings and SOX requirements.
Who you are

Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, Audit or Accounting is a plus. Good knowledge of management accounting, solid knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations

Functional: Financial Modeling, Strategic Planning, and Proficiency in SAP, BWP, and Digital & Analytic tools (Domo/Sigma/BigQuery) including AI internal tools.

Experience: 3–5 years of Finance experience in a FMCG/Pet Food environment , with a focus on Commercial Finance, Audit, or FP&A in a corporate/FMCG/Audit environment.
