Hanley farm shop café is a family run business that values its place in the local community and takes pride in serving excellent quality, locally sourced food and providing an outstanding welcome to our customers. We are looking for an entry level or experienced chef to join our busy kitchen team.
We are a small friendly team, with independent owners and we are looking to recruit new permanent staff for the business to achieve this and manage the increasing number of daily covers.
All shifts are daytime hours this does include every other weekend.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen preparing, cooking and serving food to order whilst maintaining a safe kitchen environment.
Our kitchen is a very busy working environment providing quality food for our busy café. As all the hours are between 8:30am and 5pm it makes for a great work- life balance especially for kitchen work. Great food and a great team to work with in the kitchen and front of house. Extra hours are available to cover holidays and sickness.
Pay dependant on experience. You will be paid regular tips as well as benefiting from a generous staff discount, pension scheme also available.
Its a set 22 hours a week however more hours are available to cover holidays.

Week 1:
Tuesday: 12 - 5
Thursday 11 - 5
Saturday 9 - 5
Sunday 10 - 4
Week 2:
Monday 9 - 5
Tuesday 9 - 5
Friday 12 - 5
