Summary
Leyland St. James' CE Primary School is a thriving and forward thinking school in Leyland, near Preston. We have 209 pupils on roll aged between 4-11 years and we are rated "Good" overall by Ofsted and "Excellent" the SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluation. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our happy and dedicated staff team. The interview will assess your suitability to work with children and include questions relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent for a fixed term of one year dependant on school funding. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis. The hours are 8:50am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday with a lunch break of 55 minutes, totalling 27.5 hours per week. The role will be supporting children with SEND.
