Key Responsibilities
Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications while following best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
System Design & Architecture: Contribute to technical architecture decisions, improve existing systems, and design solutions that support business growth.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to improve development standards across the team.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to software engineers, share knowledge, and help improve engineering practices.
Problem Solving: Investigate complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Support improvements in development workflows, testing practices, deployment processes, and engineering efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated success delivering production-level applications.
Technical Skills: Strong experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
Software Engineering Knowledge: Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, databases, APIs, testing, and scalable application development.
Cloud & Development Practices: Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and modern software delivery practices is highly valued.
Problem-Solving Ability: You approach complex technical problems logically and can create practical, effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Mindset: You are proactive, quality-focused, and enjoy improving systems, processes, and team performance.
Pay: £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
