Amalfi is a busy, family-run Italian restaurant in Beckenham, known for authentic food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We're looking for experienced waiting staff to join our team over the busy summer period. If you're confident working in a fast-paced restaurant, enjoy looking after guests, and take pride in providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Providing warm, friendly and professional service to every guest.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately using our ordering system.
- Serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Ensuring tables are clean, set and ready for service.
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar team to keep service running smoothly.
- Handling guest requests and resolving issues professionally.
- Recommending menu items, daily specials and drinks to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout your shift.
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a busy restaurant is essential.
- A positive, energetic attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services.
- A team player who is reliable, punctual and professional.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and throughout the summer season.
- Experience in Italian or Mediterranean restaurants is an advantage but not essential.
