Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Bartender to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who takes genuine interest in drinks — particularly natural and organic wines and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with guests. You will play a key role in shaping the bar and dining experience, delivering consistently high-quality drinks, and contributing to an evolving, seasonal menu.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a curated selection of natural, classic and organic wines, craft beers and seasonal cocktails.
- Develop a strong understanding of our drinks list, including producers, regions and flavour profiles.
- Confidently guide guests through the menu, making thoughtful and considered recommendations.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared with care, consistency and attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the bar and in the cellar.
- Assist with stock management, rotation, and maintaining product quality.
- Support the development and execution of seasonal cocktail menus.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to create a cohesive guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- A genuine interest in natural/organic wines and seasonal ingredients.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and a desire to refine and develop skills.
- Curiosity about producers, sourcing, and flavour pairings.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging service style.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
