Pay: £14.00–£20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced and motivated Regional Van Drivers to support a growing logistics operation across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy working independently, providing excellent customer service and managing daily collections within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete approximately 8–10 collections per day.
- Collect shipments from residential and commercial customers.
- Load, secure and transport cargo safely.
- Deliver collected freight to designated depots or consolidation centres.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and maintain company vehicle standards.
- Complete all paperwork and collection records accurately.
- Build positive relationships with customers and local businesses.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Promote the company's services and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (minimum 12 months).
- Clean or acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes effectively.
- Physically fit and able to lift parcels up to 30kg.
- Professional, reliable and well presented.
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
Desirable
- Previous courier, logistics, transport or parcel delivery experience.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Good local geographical knowledge.
- Sales or field marketing experience is advantageous.
