The marketing team supports the entirety of Hereford Cathedral including (but not limited to) liturgy and worship, fundraising and development, library and archives, visitor experience, music, events, tours and our commercial operation which includes the Mappa Mundi & Chained Library Museum, Cathedral Café and Shop. Life within the marketing team is never dull with such a vast range of ongoing projects and the Marketing Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager in delivering this varied work.
The Marketing Assistant’s main responsibilities will be editing and building events on the cathedral website, designing and updating marketing materials within existing templates and building e-newsletters. They will also play an active role within the team to assist with planning and delivery of campaigns and support with print management and displays in and around the cathedral.
