Job Description – Sales Engineer
Henry Technologies Ltd. are part of a multinational, market-leading organisation within the Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Industry, with manufacturing facilities and offices in the USA, UK, China and Australia. The UK business unit is responsible for sales into the European, Middle East, Africa & India markets.
We currently have a Hillington, Glasgow, based opportunity for a Sales Engineer, offering career progression into Sales management.
Reporting to the Sales Director/ Manager, responsibilities include;
- Providing Technical Sales Support for the Sales Manager
- Developing sales contacts & relationships with our existing distribution network, within the defined territory of the EMEAI Region
- Working closely with Engineering and Purchasing teams at OEM accounts, both new and existing, to increase market share at OEM level.
- Attending relevant trade shows & industry conferences
- Interface with various internal departments

Qualifications / Skills

You may have a technical or engineering qualification, or practical industry experience through Refrigeration Services.
You should be;
- Qualified to HNC/D level in a relevant field, or a Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in a similar role
- Willing & able to travel regularly, both within the UK and Internationally.
- Fully computer literate & comfortable working with MS Office software
- Good communication / interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical ability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Additional languages advantageous – Either German, Italian, French or Spanish.
