We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our Football Maestro Academy programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, technical / tactical & mental areas. teamwork, within our positive environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in football coaching within our growing programme teaching to make a meaningful impact on aspiring footballers. The position is paid and suitable for both experienced coaches and those eager to develop their coaching skills within a supportive organisation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised training programmes to improve technical abilities, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among players
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Act as a role model, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Football coaching and/or playing.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of varying ages and abilities
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety standards
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining discipline
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected
- Organised with excellent planning skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
