Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to culinary standards, including cooking and food production processes.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and maintain inventory control.
- Develop and implement innovative drink menus, including specialised cocktails and beverages.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies across all operations.
- Lead team training programmes in hospitality, serving techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
- Monitor customer feedback to enhance service quality and resolve any issues promptly.
- Organise staff rotas, manage shift schedules, and supervise team performance.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes excellent hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food safety management.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and hotel or restaurant operations.
- Good communication skills and a personable manner suitable for guest interaction.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or culinary arts are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
