Job description:
Job Title: Roadworker / Labourer
Location: Cirencester (yard-based)
Hours: Full-time, 40-45 hrs/week, Mon–Fri
Pay: Varies based on experience (Weekly or Monthly)
Please note: You must hold a valid driving licence
About Us:
A P Transport is a council-approved highways contractor operating across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We specialise in highways maintenance works including civil engineering and surfacing and we’re expanding our team to meet growing demand.
The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable individual to join our defect repair teams
Key Duties:
- Assist with defect repairs - potholes, kerbs, gullys etc
- Strimming, hedgecutting
- General manual labour (e.g. wheelbarrowing, lifting)

Ideal Candidate:
- Keen, hard-working, punctual, team player with a positive attitude
- Tarmac experience is a plus (training can be provided)
- Helpful but not required:
- HGV licence and valid CPC card
- Streetworks (NRSWA)
- Plant/Machinery tickets
