We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
In this role, you’ll support our invoicing, credit note processing, and wider finance activities, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. You’ll work closely with our Internal Sales Team and external logistics partner to ensure customer invoicing is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Preparing daily invoicing schedules using dispatch reports
✅ Raising customer invoices through our accounting system
✅ Checking sales orders for accuracy, including serial numbers and key details
✅ Processing customer credit notes accurately and efficiently
✅ Liaising with Internal Sales and customers where required
✅ Supporting Credit Control activities, including taking payments and assisting with banking
✅ Providing general finance and administrative support as needed
What We’re Looking For
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Good organisational and numerical skills
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
✔ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
✔ A proactive and flexible approach with a positive “can do” attitude
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Commitment to confidentiality, GDPR, and data protection compliance
