Sales Assistant
Location: WJW Pontypool Self Storage
Salary: £26,500 per annum

WJW Self Storage is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team at our Pontypool facility.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for helping customers find the right storage solution, managing enquiries, maintaining the site, and ensuring the facility operates smoothly and professionally.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email, online, and face-to-face
- Promoting and selling self-storage solutions to prospective customers
- Completing rental agreements and customer documentation
- Managing customer accounts and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate records using company computer systems
- Performing regular cleaning duties throughout the facility
- Preparing storage units for new customers
- Conducting routine site checks and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the facility
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Supporting colleagues and covering shifts at other company locations when required
Essential Requirements
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate and confident using office software
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and manner
- Flexible approach to working across multiple sites when required
- Full UK driving licence
