Duties
- Lead the design and development of electrical infrastructure systems using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to create detailed schematics and layout plans.
- Conduct comprehensive root cause analysis on electrical system failures or performance issues utilizing MATLAB, Python, or Perl scripting to identify underlying problems swiftly.
- Develop and simulate system models with Simulink and SolidWorks to optimize performance and reliability of electrical components.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, and firmware to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
- Perform debugging, soldering, signal processing, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques during hardware development and maintenance phases.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems within mechanical structures, ensuring system design aligns with project specifications.
- Utilize electrical engineering principles to create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with strong knowledge of system design principles.
- Proven experience with electrical system design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD tools.
- Hands-on experience with SoC (System on Chip) architectures, signal processing, debugging techniques, and firmware development.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and surface mount component assembly.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, Perl, MATLAB, and C++ for automation and analysis tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to support integrated infrastructure projects.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex electrical issues using systematic troubleshooting methods.
- Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), soldering skills, and surface mount component handling is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and documenting technical processes effectively.
