Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner/Nurse to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and social skills among children
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with regulatory standards
- Plan and implement daily routines that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Manage classroom resources, maintain cleanliness, and organize materials to create an inviting learning environment
- Lead and support team members through management and leadership responsibilities, fostering a collaborative atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child development principles
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or home visits
- A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
