The Impact You'll Make
As a Hotel Bistro Team Member, you’ll be the friendly face and attentive presence that transforms a guest’s visit into a memorable occasion. Whether you’re serving a perfectly brewed morning coffee, recommending the chef’s special, or ensuring every table is set to perfection, your role is central to the guest experience. You’ll help create a space where visitors feel valued, relaxed, and eager to return.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests warmly, guide them to their tables, and ensure they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations and upselling specials with confidence.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining area, including resetting tables efficiently between guests.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and clear communication.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Support bistro events, seasonal menus, and special promotions.
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or café service is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
