Right Choice Mobility: We are located in Highams Park Chingford East London, which is also on the border of Redbridge Essex. We specialise in mobility equipment and the company is an approved main dealer for many manufacturers. Part of the Company's main responsibility is to provide ongoing customer support and ensure that their customers can, with the help of Right Choice Mobility, remain as independent as possible.
The Role :
A professional engineer who will assist the needs of our elderly and disabled customers as well as local authorities and NHS. Must have previous experience.
You will need to be understanding and sympathetic to our customers requests. You will need to have experience with at least 1 of following;
- Repairing, Installing and servicing stairlifts
- Repairing mobility scooters and wheelchairs, such as Battery change, Punctures Replacement parts fault finding training can be provided Knowledge of open and closed circuits required and multi meter use.
- Ceiling track hoists .
- Door entry installation
- Installation of ramps
- You may be required to help delivering heavy goods such as lift chairs
- You will be updating customers and your work calendar.
The role is 5 days per week 8 hours per day to suit with your location ( applicants within 40 miles north of the river is preferred to avoid a long commute ideally a maximum of 1 hour with traffic each way, previous experience is essential in one of the above or a similar field , Training will be given previous mechanical or electrical work is a must and previous role in this field is required.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a bright and energetic individual to join our established team. To fulfil this role you must have proven record in hands on fault finding and general hand tools skills, a strong ability, good communication skills, excellent time management and an excellent telephone manner. We expect our staff to be patient and sympathetic to our customers needs. A full clean driving licence with no more than 6 points. Due to the nature of this job heavy lifting is also involved.
