Overview
We are a joinery manufacturer based in Malton, North Yorkshire looking for an experienced Joiner/Carpenter to join our team working on domestic installation projects across North Yorkshire.
You will be working on installing a variety of our manufactured joinery, including windows, doors, stairs and much more.
You will be based at our premises in Malton and travel to site on a daily basis with the use of a company vehicle.
You will generally work alongside our existing experienced site Joiner/Carpenter.
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2.30pm, however this can vary dependant on the project.
Holidays - 21 days plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general joinery and carpentry work, including fitting doors, frames, windows, skirting and architrave.
- Undertake bespoke joinery task and minor repairs.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install materials.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related construction trades.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, polite and customer focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: £33,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
