Main purpose of job role:
· Provide a ductwork manufacture service to the RGM Group
Reporting to a Workshop Craftsman the key tasks will include, but are not limited to:
· Follow the instructions of designated Workshop Craftsman in the manufacture of various sheet metal components
· Ensure work area is kept tidy
· Proactive approach to H&S ensuring the safety of self and others is always paramount
· Willingness to undertake development working towards becoming a Workshop Craftsman
Essential requirements for the role:
· Good organisational skills and the ability to follow direction
· Enthusiasm in the field of engineering and the drive to progress within the role
· Flexibility to work overtime
Desirable requirements for the role:
· Previous experience within a similar workshop based role
· Attainment of relevant training
· Fork Lift Licence
Salary is dependent on experience | In-house NVQ programme offered | 38 hour working week | Early Finish Friday | Overtime rates available
